London Medical Academy

London Medical Academy is the latest addition to the International Overseas Medical Education Network. We prepare the medical students of the future by offering pre-med courses, which prepare participants for targeted entrance examinations such as BMAT, IMAT, UCAT, GAMSAT, MCAT, or SAT subject tests in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as individual entrance exams at over 40 different medical universities in Europe with English study programs.

Our key differentiator in the UK is that we offer two different routes to the medical university of your choice, via an intensive, highly academic pre-med course designed to prepare students for the rigours of passing entrance exams to full medical degree courses, allied to our guaranteed placement service into over 40 world-leading medical universities throughout Europe and the UK.

In addition, the Academy supports students who are already academically prepared and have opted to study medicine abroad, but want to guarantee their study place by finding a suitable university and arranging for the placement at the desired university in one of 16 different countries. Over 1,000 students from all over the world have successfully participated in our courses and gone on to study medicine in over 40 different medical universities throughout Europe.

Extensive admission examinations abroad and the requirement to have previously graduated with certain scientific qualifications need not be hurdles on the way to studying medicine.

In addition to our own academies, we have formed numerous working partnerships with medical universities all over Europe including Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Cyprus, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

We are medical doctors and academic professionals ourselves and strive to guide young, motivated students in realising their dream to becoming a doctor, dentist, or veterinarian.

There is an acute shortage of doctors in many countries – medical professionals and doctors are urgently needed internationally. We aim to change that by making medical studies more accessible to everyone.

Quality is important to us, so we rely on individual learning in small groups up to a maximum of 25 students per class. We support and care for our students during the course by providing the ideal environment in which to study. We use modern teaching methods and work together with a team of highly qualified instructors. Our premises in the centre of London are state-of-the-art and offer the optimum learning conditions.

Our history: For over 10 years we have prepared students for their medical studies

The London Medical Academy is the latest addition to the international Overseas Medical Education Network. The idea of founding the academy was born because many young people find it difficult to get a place in medicine.

Extensive admission examinations abroad and the requirement to have previously graduated with certain scientific qualifications are an additional hurdle on the way to studying medicine. We prepare future medical students professionally for these entrance examinations. In order to solve this problem, the Overseas Medical Education Network was established. The first Academy of OME was founded in 2013 in Berlin. In 2016, the opening of the Cologne location followed, with the London and Munich Medical Academies following shortly thereafter, in 2019.

In addition to our own academies, numerous partnerships and cooperations with medical universities have emerged over the years, including: in Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Cyprus, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other countries.

Our vision: We want to help young people to realise their dream of a medical profession career

The main motivation for founding the Academy was the many hurdles that made it difficult to study medicine. We are medical doctors ourselves and have also experienced how difficult it is to get a place to study and successfully complete a degree.

We want to help young, motivated students to realise their dream of becoming a doctor by making this difficult journey a little easier. We support our participants with years of knowledge and experience and treat them as professional companions.

Another reason that we founded the academy is that there is an acute shortage of doctors in many countries – medical professionals and doctors are urgently needed internationally. We aim to change that by making medical studies more accessible to everyone.

Our courses are designed so that they optimally prepare the participants for the entrance exam at international universities – be it in England or other European countries. Graduates of our medical preparatory course have a significantly higher chance of passing the comprehensive admission tests such as the BMAT or IMAT, or specific tests at the various universities. With the right preparation, nothing stands in the way of your dream of studying medicine!

Our vision is to help motivated prospective students enter medical school. We want to give more talented young people the opportunity to work in their dream profession. Quality is important to us, so therefore we rely on individual learning in small groups of a maximum of 25 participants.

Student care is also very important to us. We support and care for our students during the course by providing the ideal environment in which to study. We use modern teaching methods and work together with a team of highly qualified instructors. Our premises in the middle of London are state-of-the-art and offer the best conditions for optimal learning. We also cooperate with renowned international universities and are available to help you with the placement of study places. The course fee should not be an obstacle to participation. On request, an instalment payment plan is possible.
